Increasing Organic Reach Through Creative Content

Great social media starts with creative, attention-grabbing content. Staying on top of trends, holidays and pop culture events can help get those creative wheels turning and present "viral" content opportunities.

Kansas City Chiefs

During the 2016 NFL season, there were a variety of parking and traffic challenges at Arrowhead Stadium. When 76,000 fans flock to Arrowhead in the middle of Kansas City rush hour, its sure to be a hot mess! In order to encourage fans to arrive early, ease parking challenges and ensure the stadium was packed by kickoff, our digital team brainstormed an excusal letter signed by Coach Reid himself. This letter was picked up by various news sources, accomplishing our goal of communicating the need to arrive early in a fun, viral way.

Pickleman's

There are a lot of die hard pickle fans out there. For April Fools Day, we decided to craft a pickle sandwich, complete with a recipe video for social media. The video received 1.4k comments and over 109k video views on Facebook alone.

After posting the Pickle Sandwich, we realized there was a need for a pickle-centric menu item on the Pickleman's menu. We tested a series of pickle concepts and ended up with the Pickle Pizza. Pickles are popular and pickles are polarizing, so when we posted the concept to social media we had well over 500 comments and over 100 shares - all organic. The post was even picked up by a couple local news sources in our markets!
